Japan dealer guide: how to sell LiFePO4 batteries and solar storage

A good dealer program should start from products that are easy to explain and easy to quote. In Japan, we recommend starting with 12.8V 100Ah LiFePO4 batteries, 51.2V home storage batteries and selected inverter or PCS solutions.

For retail and small solar shops, 12.8V products can serve RV, telecom, camera, DC backup, marine and small off-grid applications. For residential solar installers, 51.2V products are easier to match with 48V hybrid and off-grid inverters.

For commercial customers, the sales process should move from product-only quoting to project sizing: kWh capacity, PCS/inverter power, EMS, cabinets, wiring, protection and after-sales plan.
